For our first Up + Coming Roundtable, we invited a group of emerging artists to discuss the ins and outs of their music careers at the Buddha Bar in Knightsbridge, London.
The session was hosted by Lizzie Romain, who has her own radio show dedicated to supporting the ambitions of independent acts, and featuring their latest tracks.
The artists present were from a variety of different genres, but found they had a lot in common when discussing the challenges facing independent talent today. There was plenty to be concerned about, but there was a warm sense of solidarity, and lots of laughs, too.
In the cool Buddha Bar atmosphere, people could talk freely and enjoy a drink or two.
